After nationals during July we often tend to take our foot off the gas and have some time to relax. Every rider takes a week or two to recover body and mind, go for some nice vacation and recharge. Some of our riders were still more busy during the first half of July, taking time off in the second two weeks later in the month and impressed with remarkable performances and results!
On July 5 Tomáš Gdula scored bronze overall in the time trial at international UCI Gran Fondo Suisse! It was important goal for Tomáš because his performance and result means he is qualified rider for the amateur world championships in Denmark 2024.
On July 6 Vladimír Uličný at L´Etape du Tour in Nice, the biggest amateur road cycling event in Europe often with around 16000 participants, challenged the mountains by riding the hardest stage of the 2024 Tour de France. 137km with 4630 elevation gain… These numbers says it all! Vladimír won his age group and we are so proud of him!
Vladimír continued on and a week later during amateur road national championships prooved his dominance in age group by winning the title! This was the main seasonal target for Vladimír and we are super happy for his success!
Our main team program and race targets will continue during August and September and we are excited to give our best!
